Wildflower Garden

The Wildflower Garden serves as the gateway to the Barlow Farm. It features mixed native perennials, those that have adapted to local temperatures, rainfall, wind and wildlife of this Lake Erie region and which attract butterflies. The Wildflower Garden was created by Sara Michalak, Canadaway Wildflowers, on a site taken over by the yarrow plant. While yarrow remains as hedging and fill, many beautiful plants have been added--coneflowers, wild columbine, butterfly weed, sundrops, summer phlox, as well as native grasses. The Wildflower Garden welcomes visitors and offers delightful experiences of flora and fauna.
