Growing with Music Together is a licensed Music Together® Center that offers parent-child classes for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and kindergarteners. In class, families share songs, instrument play, rhythm chants and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting. Music is learned through devleopmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children. Music Together® encourages children's innate abilities to sing in tune, create rhythm and participate in music making with joy and confidence. Classes also nourish families' efforts to create rich musical environments at home.

 

All classes are taught by Kay Barlow, a Music Together® Certified Level I Instructor who holds an American Orff-Schulwerk Assoc., Level I Certificate, and Masters of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees.  Kay is a recipient of the 2005 Chautauqua County Early Childhood Award for Excellence in teaching.
